Hi! And welcome to the inaugural post of my breast cancer blog. This is very exciting for me. I’ve wanted to start this blog for a long time; I want to build a space where people can come to be informed about breast cancer, prevention, and treatment options, but also find support. This blog is designed as a resource for breast cancer patients, survivors, family & friends of breast cancer victims, students, activists, and doctors.
Breast cancer is a horrifying disease, but we’re fighting it together: patient, doctors, and activists together. I plan to use this blog to post entries and links offering information and support in the fight against breast cancer.
The fight against breast cancer is not about “save the boobies” and its not about coloring things pink and its not about ribbons. We are so much more than that. This fight is for real women and the people who love them.
